Through our design service and expertise we can tailor make Spark Arresters to suit your individual requirements.

The Western Tydens Spark Arresters come in two basic ranges, offering a variety of shapes and sizes for engines up to 500hp (per exhaust). The design service is available to both manufacturers and importers, and ensures an efficient and unobtrusive installation on all applications. A choice of materials is available.

Where standard products can not be fitted due to space or other limitations, it is often possible to produce a direct replacement for the standard silencer. By basing designs around standard spark arrester models whenever possible compliance with various standards is maintained.

We can usually work to a drawing or a sample pattern to produce a new design to meet your installation requirements. Large engines can usually be catered for by using multiple units.

Standard products can be modified to suit installation requirements, for example width inlet or outlet bends and mounting flanges, brackets or pipework.
